Frequently asked questions
Will the result be sharp?
Reducing an image keeps it sharp, because the tool scales down in halving steps. Enlarging can't add detail, which is why Don't enlarge stays on until you switch it off or pick a preset.
How is this different from crop?
Resize changes the dimensions of the whole image and only cuts off edges when you pick Fill and crop for a new shape. Crop Image cuts a part out of the picture without scaling it.
