How the universal image editor works

Frequently asked questions

Which image formats are supported?

JPG, PNG and WebP. The edited image keeps its format, except that Remove Background and Round Corners always give you a PNG and Image to Text gives you a .txt file.

Is my image uploaded?

Yes. These edits run on our server, so the image is uploaded first and you download the result from there. Resize Image on its own page is the exception and works in your browser.
